Local communities in Southwest Ethiopia highly depend on forest resources to sustain their income. In the video, Ato Aklilu Haile explains the impact of the resource use in the past. Projects – like a former “Wild Coffee Conservation” project by EWNRA (funded by the University of Huddersfield) or NABU’s and EWNRA’s current “Forests for Future” project – support the communities to restore, sustainably manage and conserve the highly valuable forest ecosystems.
